Florida Strawberry Festival
What could be more enjoyable than finding Plant City Florida and eating delicious,ripe strawberries under the beautiful Florida sun!
This annual event, normally held in February and March ranks in the top 30 of such events in the country.
This festival , which began in 1930 promotes the over 5,000 acres of strawberries that are planted annually in Hillsborough County.
This event has it all, rides, good food,arts, livestock, crafts and the annual crowning of the Strawberry King and Queen.

Venice, a city of approximately 21,000, is located in Sarasota County Florida. The city's early as well as present claim to fame lies in it's airport located on the south side of town.
Built in the early 1940's by the United States Army Air Force it served as a military training facility base, being used as well by( ATC), Air Transport Command to deliver US built aircraft to Britain. As soon as the war was over the US government gave the airport to the city of Venice.MORE
